Flexible foam

Designed for comfort, molded flexible foam is great
for seating applications

molded foam seating

Flexible polyurethane foam is designed for comfort. It is resilient - push it with your hand and it bounces back - and it is soft.

Flexible foam is the foam most often used in vehicle seating, furniture, and mattresses - all of the places we spend the most time relaxing.

Flexible foam can be customized to your needs, with a wide range of firmnesses. Embedded components make assembly and upholstery operations easy, and add to comfort features you design into the part. Custom molded flexible foam enhances comfort features by adding support not possible with sheet or slab stock foam.

Molded foam also has environmental and safety advantages over skived or cut foam. Because only the amount of material necessary to fill the mold is used, molded foam
is less wasteful. And workplace hazards associated with foam dust in cutting operations
is eliminated. Flexible foam can be recycled for other uses, often carpet backing.
