Renosol works with Gap Blocker inventor
October 5, 2010 - Renosol Corporation announces its selection
manufacturer of the patented Auto Seat Gap Blocker, a handy device that prevents items from getting lost between a vehicle's seat and center console.
The inventor, Russ Gregory, worked with Renosol over a period of several months to develop materials and the manufacturing process for the product, which Renosol molds in Bay City, Michigan.
The Auto Seat Gap Blocker is molded from polyurethane, a resilient, crushable, foam material. It is coated to allow the Gap Blocker to slide easily into place without getting hung up when adjusting seats.
Gregory won a Best New Product Award from the Automotive Aftermarket Parts Expo (AAPEX) for his invention in 2009.
QVC featured the Auto Seat Gap Blocker nationally September 30, 2010.
Gregory also offers the product on his website at www.gapblocker.com.
