TYPES OF FOAM PRODUCED FROM POLYURETHANE

Flexible MDI Foam / Molded Structural Foam Inserts (SFI) – Used for vehicle cushioning and furniture.

Rigid / Structural – Provides firm but comfortable seating. An efficient insulation material, this is an alternative building material to wood, metal, and plastics.

Energy Absorbing (EA) – Used to reduce impact to shield and protect passenger compartments.

Noise, Vibration, and Harshness dampening acoustic foam (NVH) – Custom-molded acoustic foam prevents squeaks, and rattles, and engine noise from reaching the passenger compartment.

Integral Skin (IS) – Integral skin foam is flexible on the inside and tough and resilient on the outside. Ideal for athletic equipment and office chairs.
